Service and Support Agent
Location: Downtown Toronto

Description: As a member of the support team, you are responsible for receiving, assessing, and resolving customer reported issues. Issues can range from simple workstation problems to complex workflow issues. You’ll also be responsible for taking user requests and bug reports and translating them into actionable development requests.

If invited to join the team, you’ll enjoy a relatively flexible schedule and the ability to work from home for a reasonable portion of the week. You’ll also benefit from a competitive salary and relaxed office environment.

* 3+ years relevant experience (customer service, technical support)
* Technical understanding of Windows and OS X operating systems, and modern browsers
* Comfort learning and using new tools
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Impeccable interpersonal skills
* Eye for detail
* A calm and patient demeanour
* Comfort working with sensitive data

Helpful Assets:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or community college graduate in information technology
* Technical understanding of Linux, MySQL, HylaFAX, and HTML
* Experience teaching or training others, especially beginners/intermediate users
* Technical writing/documentation production and editing
